Yes, we welcome the public for rentals and are happy to assist anyone looking to rent items.

No, we do not allow browsing without an appointment. We are not a retail store or a museum. If you’re interested in purchasing items for a specific project or collection, please schedule an appointment in advance, as most items in our warehouse are for rental only.

We encourage all clients to book appointments to ensure that our team is available to assist you.

We also welcome field trips for educational purposes, such as photography or production design classes. Please contact us to arrange a date and time for your class visit.

I can’t find what I’m looking for. What should I do?
Our website showcases only a small portion of our extensive inventory, so please reach out if you don’t see the items you need. If we don’t have them in stock, we also have a fabrication and design studio that may be able to create what you’re looking for. Additionally, with enough time, we can help source the item from our network of professional resources.

I have antiques I want to sell. Will Chicago Prop Rentals purchase them?
We are selective about purchases and consider the needs of our prop customers. Please send us a photo of your items at info@chicagoproprentals.com, and we’ll be happy to review them. If we’re interested, we will get back to you regarding the potential purchase.

Do you offer delivery services?
No, we do not provide delivery services ourselves, but we can recommend trusted companies that can assist you with transportation.

I want to transport my rental items myself. What’s the procedure?
Small rental items can be transported in your vehicle of choice. However, larger items must be transported in a covered sprinter van or a suitable vehicle to ensure their safety and the safety of other road users.
